Climate Resilience at Scale: The Lagwai Ward Farmers' Success

In 2024, more than 100 farmers in Lagwai Ward saw crop failure due to erratic rainfall. Lagara Investments stepped in with a pilot program introducing drought-resistant oil seeds and training in water harvesting techniques. 

Within two seasons, average yields increased by 40%, and the group formed a marketing collective to sell produce in regional markets.
