From Struggle to Sustainability: Grace’s Journey with Lagara

Grace, a 27-year-old single mother from Pader District, struggled to make ends meet after her small garden was repeatedly hit by drought. 

In 2024, she joined one of Lagara’s climate-smart agriculture training programs. With support in seeds, irrigation methods, and farming knowledge, Grace was able to double her harvest within a season. 

Today, she sells sunflower oil locally and employs two other women in her village.
